After several rants and the realisation that some people had started to not only accept the price of eBooks but the defend the price. I have decided to do something about it. Admittedly its not much but perhaps I can help just a little bit. I'll post on here eBooks that I consider bargains and also name and shame those that are over priced. At the moment I have set myself the following rules. Both eBook and Book must be sold by Amazon. Amazon market place does not count (even though this is were you will find the true disparity in price.) A price is a "rip off" if the eBook price is at least 10% more than the cheapest physical edition. Bargains will be eBooks that are either highly recommended but cheap or significantly cheaper on eBook than physical.
Its after I set these rules for myself that I found the publishing houses have been cleverly re-issuing old books at increased prices. I assume to defy such analysis. I have however still been able to find rip off prices.
